Common questions
Do players need the app or an account?
No account is ever required. Players who install STACKD can scan the host's QR code to follow along and request rebuys. The host can also run the whole game on one phone.
Why does STACKD ask to find devices on my local network?
Only when you share a table. It lets phones at the same physical table connect directly to each other. Nothing is sent to the internet.
Where is my data?
On your iPhone. Export or delete everything anytime in Profile & Settings → Data.
Does STACKD handle money?
No. STACKD records what you enter and calculates who owes whom. Payment labels like Venmo or Cash are for tracking only.
My bank doesn't balance. What now?
End the game and STACKD walks you through it. It shows the difference, suggests likely causes (a missed rebuy, a miscounted chip) and helps you resolve it.
