Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2026

The short version: STACKD does not collect, sell or share your personal data. We run no servers, analytics, advertising or tracking. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What STACKD stores

Games, player names, optional player photos, chip sets, presets, house rules, notes and settings are stored locally on your iPhone. They are not sent to us. They are included in your device backups according to your iPhone's settings.

Sharing a table with nearby phones

When a host chooses to share a table, STACKD uses Apple's Multipeer Connectivity to connect phones at the same location directly, over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The connection is encrypted and no internet server is involved. Guests receive the game name, blinds, player names and their own buy-ins and results. They do not receive other players' financial details. Guests can send requests (for example, a rebuy) that the host approves or declines.

Invite links

If you share an invite link or QR code, it contains basic game details you chose (game name, host name, time, location text, buy-in and blinds) so the recipient can see the invitation. You decide who receives it.

Invite links open a small web page hosted on GitHub Pages that shows the table code and a link to the App Store. The page doesn't store or collect anything, but GitHub, like any web host, may keep standard server logs of requests.

Permissions

Money

STACKD never processes payments or connects to financial accounts. Amounts and payment labels are records you enter.

Children

STACKD is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Your control

You can export or permanently delete all STACKD data anytime in Profile & Settings → Data. Deleting the app also removes its data from your device.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date. If STACKD ever adds an optional online feature, such as cloud backup, this policy will explain it before it's turned on.
